What you will do

• Build infrastructure managing metadata for hundreds of billions of files and petabytes of user data.
• Lead expansion of hirify.global's data-fabric connecting millions of applications and services globally.
• Optimize analytics platform for extracting insights from vast data volumes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve infrastructure performance, reliability, and security.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote continuous learning within the team.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies to maintain competitive edge.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Mexico for remote work
• 5+ years professional software development experience.
• Proven experience building large-scale, multi-threaded, geographically distributed backend systems.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, C/C++, or Java programming and debugging.
• Strong knowledge of OS internals, filesystems, databases, networks, and compilers.
• Ability to independently solve ambiguous, open-ended problems.
