What you will do

• Define, plan, and execute QA and testing needs for Hearts of Iron IV.
• Lead, support, and coach the QA team in daily work and long-term development.
• Track, evaluate, and communicate product quality throughout development cycles.
• Recruit, onboard, and mentor QA team members.
• Coordinate with external QA partners and align them with project needs.
• Collaborate with designers, engineers, and producers to support feature development with QA insight.
• Continuously improve workflows, testing methodologies, and QA processes.
• Provide QA leadership to other teams when needed.

Requirements

• English: B2 level or higher required
• Previous experience in QA for game development.
• Experience leading QA teams or coordinating QA work.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Hands-on experience with Jira or similar bug tracking tools.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test planning, and risk assessment.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Paradox Development Studio titles, especially Hearts of Iron.
• Experience managing external QA partners.
• Experience working through full development cycles from alpha to release.
• Strong interest in systems-heavy or grand strategy games.
