What you will do

• Take ownership of new 0→1 product development from concept to production.
• Architect and implement full-stack features using Next.js.
• Design and build scalable APIs, optimizing for serverless constraints.
• Deploy and maintain systems on Vercel/AWS with CI/CD.
• Partner with product, design, and growth to rapidly test hypotheses.
• Integrate AI-powered capabilities that create tangible user and platform value.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with strong JavaScript/TypeScript expertise.
• Deep Next.js knowledge (App Router, Server Components, caching).
• Solid backend engineering fundamentals (idempotency, rate limiting, dependency injection, database transactions).
• Hands-on experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred), query optimization, and ORM patterns.
• Comfortable with serverless architecture (Vercel).
• Entrepreneurial mindset with strong product ownership.

Nice to have

• Experience with tRPC or similar type-safe API frameworks.
• Background job processing experience (Inngest, BullMQ).
• Prior work with LLMs, vector databases, or building AI-powered features.
• Python experience for AI/ML integrations.
• E-commerce, SaaS, or FinTech domain experience.
• Contributions to open-source or prior incubator/startup experience.
