What you will do

• Design, experiment, develop, test, and deploy data science models based on project requirements.
• Optimize and fine-tune models in production, overseeing continuous monitoring and handling drift.
• Ensure optimal, cost-effective design decisions to improve performance and overcome scalability limits.
• Research and identify methods, data sources, and features to drive business impact and improve model accuracy.
• Demonstrate strong analytical and debugging skills with a proactive approach to learning.

Requirements

• Experience: At least 2 years in a Data Scientist role, deploying models into production.
• Proven experience delivering end-to-end ML solutions that produce business value.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience with ML and geospatial libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, geopandas, scikit-image, and XGBoost.
• Experience developing and deploying models using MLOps platforms (Dataiku, Databricks, Sagemaker, etc.).
• Experience working with timeseries data.
• Familiarity with software engineering best practices.
• English: Fluent required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Dataiku.
• Experience with big data technologies, specifically Spark, Redshift or BigQuery.
• Knowledge of at least one cloud computing platform (preferably AWS).
• Expertise on applications focusing on geospatial data and mobility analytics.
• Familiarity with the shipping industry and commodity trading.
• Experience working in an international environment.
