TL;DR

Frontend Engineer (React): Building client-side web applications powering pre-checkout, delivery, and returns experiences for over 550 global brands with an accent on performance optimization, user experience, and scalable design systems. Focus on developing new features, improving codebase quality, and integrating AI coding tools in a complex product environment.

Location: Fully Remote with Munich Office & DE remote options

What you will do

Drive new feature development expanding the service offering
Own improvements in codebase and design system to optimize performance and user experience
Enhance daily tasks of consumers and businesses meaningfully
Participate actively in technical decision-making and uphold good engineering practices

Requirements

Location: Must be based in Germany or able to work remotely within DE
Experience with modern frontend frameworks and tools including React, TailwindCSS, TypeScript, accessibility, and automated testing (E2E/Unit)
Agile mindset with focus on quality and consistent delivery
Product thinking approach to improve meaningful product outcomes
Team player with strong communication skills
Ability to efficiently use AI coding tools in a brownfield environment

Nice to have

Interest in developer tooling and QA automation
Experience with large scale single-page applications (SPAs)
Clear and goal-oriented communication of problems and solutions
Curiosity to explore full product and engineering context
