🦄 Description
Nekki is looking for a Narrative Lead for SPINE — a cinematic, third-person gun-fu action game built on Unreal Engine 5. The role focuses on working with an almost finalized story and characters, coordinating the narrative team, integrating narrative into gameplay, and ensuring smooth cross-department collaboration. Strong leadership, organizational skills, and narrative design expertise are key.

🚀 Responsibilities
• Lead the narrative team: manage backlog, distribute tasks, oversee deadlines, maintain motivation and a healthy work environment
• Review the team’s work and set the quality bar according to agreements with the Game Director
• Manage resources and optimize processes: control development scope, plan workload, improve team efficiency
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration of narrative into gameplay
• Maintain narrative quality across scripts, dialogues, story arcs, cutscenes, and voice acting

📚 Required Skills
• Experience leading a team of writers or narrative designers, ideally including localization and VO teams
• Experience working on a complex project with deep narrative–gameplay integration and cross-team collaboration
• Released projects in the portfolio, or 2+ years of work on a large, complex project even if not shipped

👍 Nice to Have
• English level B2 or higher
• Experience working with Unreal Engine
