QA Analyst (Cybersecurity)

Location: 100% remote position, must be a U.S. Person, defined as a U.S. citizen or a lawful permanent resident (Green Card holder). Opportunity for hybrid schedule for candidates based in El Dorado Hills, CA or Chicago, IL metro area.

What you will do

• Conduct testing of web-based console applications, ensuring quality and reliability.
• Set up and configure testing tools, focusing on backend APIs and web application functionality.
• Manage test tickets and document testing activities using Jira and Confluence.
• Use TestRail to track and report on testing progress.
• Set up testing environments for both desktop and mobile platforms.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QA professionals.

Requirements

• Proven experience working in enterprise environments with a strong understanding of network operations and system administration.
• Knowledge of fault tolerance, multi-tenancy, and concepts such as load balancers and proxies.
• Experience with enterprise tools such as Active Directory, LDAP, and Identity Management solutions.
• Solid experience with enterprise operating systems (Windows 10, Mac OS X, Linux, Windows Server).

Nice to have

• Experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for web application testing.
• Familiarity with virtualization and containerization technologies (e.g., VMware, Docker).
• Experience with cloud environments such as AWS or Azure.
• Knowledge of identity and access management protocols such as SAML and SCIM.
