What you will do

• Set vision and strategy for ML applications in Trust & Safety and moderation.
• Lead and grow a multidisciplinary Safety ML team including applied scientists and engineers.
• Develop and deploy state-of-the-art ML models including fine-tuned LLMs and transformers.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Safety operations, and AI/ML Platform teams.
• Drive experimentation, evaluation, and lifecycle management of ML models ensuring high precision and policy alignment.
• Champion ethical and responsible AI practices in all Safety ML solutions.

Requirements

• Must have 10+ years experience in ML, AI, or applied research with focus on Trust & Safety or content integrity.
• 5+ years leading ML teams in high-impact environments.
• Proven experience shipping ML systems at scale, including transformer models and LLM fine-tuning.
• Strong expertise in NLP, detection systems, and supervised/weak supervision techniques.
• Excellent cross-functional leadership and ability to influence executives.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with experience founding or scaling ML organizations.

Nice to have

• Experience with real-time abuse detection and automated moderation in user-generated content platforms.
• Background in consumer-facing tech or large-scale community-driven products.
