What you will do
- Manage the project lifecycle from pre-kickoff to closure, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Develop and manage project plans, resource allocation, and schedules for successful execution.
- Create project collateral and artifacts to build an effective project management practice.
- Coordinate with clients to understand requirements, gather information, and provide updates.
- Lead and manage a team of technical resources, including engineers and consultants.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies, developing contingency plans.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including plans, status reports, and meeting minutes.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across sales, product, and support teams.
- Conduct project post-implementation reviews to identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
- U.S. citizen or Permanent Resident and based solely on U.S. soil.
- 5+ years of experience managing IT projects, specifically in the security domain.
- Strong understanding of SIEM solutions, including architecture, functionality, and implementation.
- Proven experience managing projects using standard methodologies like Waterfall and Agile.
- Excellent project management skills, including planning, risk management, and team management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple projects and deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Nice to have
- Experience with SIEM solutions such as Splunk, IBM QRadar, Exabeam, or LogRhythm.
- Certification in project management, such as PMP.
- Experience with cloud-based SIEM solutions.
