What you will do

• Deliver high-profile digital products and services for UK public sector and large companies.
• Support the end-to-end design of new digital products and services.
• Create high-quality design concepts and artefacts such as personas, service maps, and wireframes.
• Lead design workshops and design sprints with the team, senior stakeholders, and users.
• Work with user researchers as part of a multi-disciplinary team to create designs based on research.
• Rapidly design and test digital prototypes with users and mentor other designers.

Requirements

• Experience delivering in the UK public sector, including working to GDS standards and passing Service Standard Assessments.
• Strong experience in user-centred design, from concept to delivery.
• Experience in rapid paper and digital prototyping.
• Ability to work closely with developers and understand security, accessibility, version control, and hosting.
• Experience working in agile, multi-disciplinary delivery teams on large and complex transformation projects.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in interaction design software, such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Sketch, and Figma.
• Ability to prototype in code using HTML, CSS, and Javascript.
• Experience in consulting roles.
