Salary: $180,000 - $220,000 USD

What you will do

• Design and build resilient APIs, libraries, and services powering financial services such as clearing, settlement, lending, and trading
• Own features from inception through deployment and customer integration
• Document and expose functionality to UI, third-party developers, and internal tooling
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams and product managers to ensure technical consistency and quality
• Mentor peers through code reviews and best practice education

Requirements

• Must be full-time onsite in New York City
• 5+ years backend/server-side development experience
• Experience with Golang, TypeScript/Node.js, Java, or Python
• Experience with financial accounting systems and SQL databases
• Strong RESTful API design and testing skills
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical discipline
• Understanding and interest in cryptocurrencies and blockchain

Nice to have

• Experience with microservices and service-oriented architectures
• Experience with large-scale, real-time, distributed applications
• Familiarity with containers and Kubernetes
• Experience in financial industry systems such as digital wallets, clearing, settlement, lending, and trading
