What you will do
- Define and execute the UK partnership strategy, prioritizing high-impact partners within HCM, WFM, Payroll, and HRIS.
- Identify, engage, and close major strategic alliances with key platforms like Sage, Oracle, and SAP for deep integration.
- Establish and expand relationships with senior stakeholders (C-suite, VPs) within current and prospective partners.
- Drive proactive new business opportunities, leading complex commercial negotiations and deal structuring.
- Collaborate with internal marketing, product, and sales teams to implement effective go-to-market strategies with partners.
- Provide strategic direction and oversight to the partner team, ensuring maximum activation and acceleration.
Requirements
- Extensive progressive experience (10+ years) in strategic partnerships, alliances, or business development within B2B SaaS.
- Significant experience and established connections within the HR, Payroll, WFM, and Human Capital Management (HCM) ecosystems in the UK.
- Direct experience working for or closely with Sage, Oracle, or SAP on platform integrations or strategic alliances is a strong advantage.
- Demonstrable track record of building substantial pipeline, hunting for large-scale opportunities, and driving deals to closure through partner channels.
- Exceptional analytical ability to develop robust business cases and structure commercially viable partnerships.
- A proactive, self-starter excited to build the function’s strategy, processes, and playbooks from the ground up.
