What you will do
- Serve as hirify.global's most prominent voice and evangelist for open-source sovereignty in Europe.
- Forge deep, strategic relationships with key open-source foundations and community leaders.
- Architect and drive the strategy for building a world-class ecosystem of European sovereign MSPs, ISVs, and technology partners.
- Engage directly with technical policymakers and standards bodies across Europe.
- Proactively analyze emerging legislation and standards to inform hirify.global's strategy.
- Act as the senior subject matter expert on open source digital sovereignty for hirify.global leadership and the broader market, developing high-impact content and representing hirify.global at events.
Requirements
- Demonstrable history of meaningful engagement and leadership within the open-source community.
- Technical knowledge of the modern cloud-native stack (Linux, Kubernetes, containers, CI/CD).
- Proven experience and understanding of the European technology policy landscape, including initiatives like Gaia-X and the NIS2 Directive.
- Experience in designing and building strategic partner ecosystems.
- Ability to connect technical features directly to high-level business concerns and national/regulatory outcomes.
- Exceptional public speaking, writing, and presentation skills to C-level audiences.
- Strategic mindset to translate market trends, competitive dynamics, and policy shifts into actionable business plans.
- Location: Based in a major European hub with excellent travel connections (e.g., Brussels, Berlin, Paris).
- English: Fluency required; proficiency in German or French is a significant asset.
