TL;DR

Technical Services Officer (Service Desk): Supporting the corporate IT environment, troubleshooting and resolving incidents related to hardware, software, applications, and networks with an accent on providing top-quality service. Focus on improving stability, performance, service quality, and efficiency by taking ownership of tasks and maintaining IT infrastructure.

hirify.global is a large iGaming company with 1700 employees across 7 offices, with 900 based out of its Malta HQ.

What you will do

  • Act as the first point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving incidents and service requests related to hardware, software, applications, and network problems.
  • Utilize available tools during the diagnosing and execution stages of incidents and service requests.
  • Route incidents and service requests that require reassignment to other service teams or third-party suppliers.
  • Track and retain ownership of incidents and service requests to ensure service levels are met and resolution is achieved quickly.
  • Continually observe a security-aware approach.

Requirements

  • Experience with Desktop Products (MS and MacOS Operating Systems, Office Products).
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting.
  • Experience with Core server infrastructure (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Office 365, MS SCCM, and MS Intune).
  • Experience with General Network Troubleshooting.
  • Professional working proficiency in English required.

Nice to have

  • Tertiary Education and/or a bachelor’s degree in IT / Computer Science.
  • ITIL certification (current).
  • Experience on traditional On-Prem infrastructure, including servers and storage components.
  • Experience on infrastructure including Cloud Services (especially AWS and Azure).
  • Automation, Security, Configuration, and Version Management skills.
  • Coding Experience and Scripting Skills (C#, Python, PowerShell, Node JS).
  • Vendor-specific certifications (AWS, Microsoft, VMWare).
