Engineering Manager (DevOps)

What you will do

• Lead and coach a team of DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
• Hands-on involvement in designing, reviewing, and optimizing code for internal tools and DevOps pipelines.
• Manage and scale centralized developer tooling including source control, CI/CD, and service discovery systems.
• Bridge the gap between development and operations to improve deployment speed and system security.
• Develop and maintain full-stack internal web portals to increase development efficiency.
• Drive data-driven decision-making and set performance KPIs for the engineering organization.

Requirements

• Must be based in Bangkok, Thailand (relocation is provided).
• Proven experience leading engineering teams with 5+ direct reports.
• Strong hands-on experience across the full SDLC and modern DevOps ecosystems (Git, CI, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Expert-level coding proficiency in Python or Go.
• Demonstrated experience managing Agile scrum teams and setting operational strategy.
• Strong sense of ownership and ability to operate autonomously in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Configuration Management tools like Ansible.
• Full-stack development experience using React and Go.
• Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes) and Hashicorp tools (Consul/Vault).
• Knowledge of both SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL or Elasticsearch.
