UAT and Business Readiness Lead

UAT and Business Readiness Lead: Guiding and executing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Business Readiness workstreams, bridging technical delivery, quality assurance, and user adoption with an accent on defining UAT strategy, planning test cases, and ensuring business sign-off. Focus on integrating UAT with Change Management, managing customer relationships, and validating migration outcomes against requirements.

Location: Remote (US). Preferential consideration will be given to candidates based locally to the country’s office. This position is not eligible for visa assistance/sponsorship or relocation assistance.

Salary: $150,000–$180,000 per annum

What you will do

• Define UAT strategy, plans, timelines, and resourcing models, translating business requirements into comprehensive test cases.
• Oversee test environment setup, data preparation, and lead UAT execution, managing testing schedules and coordinating business testers.
• Implement a rigorous defect management process, collaborating with technical teams for timely resolution and validating migration outcomes.
• Integrate the UAT process with Change Management, validating training effectiveness and capturing user feedback on experience and adoption roadblocks.
• Proactively report UAT status and defect trends to the Change Management team, providing data-driven insights on business process gaps.
• Own the formal process for achieving final UAT sign-off and confirm both the system and people are prepared for transition.

Requirements

• 8–15 years of progressive experience in technology consulting, quality assurance, or project delivery, with a minimum of 5 years specialising in leading large-scale UAT or functional testing workstreams.
• Demonstrated experience working closely with Change Management teams to drive holistic project success.
• Expertise in structured testing methodologies, defect tracking, and test management best practices, ideally within the Atlassian ecosystem (Jira).
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and executive-level presentation skills, with demonstrated ability to drive consensus and achieve sign-off from diverse stakeholders.
