Lead Release Manager

Lead Release Manager (Project Management): Manage and coordinate end-to-end software and mobile application releases within aviation and border solutions. Focus on release process design, CI/CD integration, risk mitigation, and stakeholder alignment to ensure timely, high-quality deliveries.
Location: Sydney, Australia. Applicants must be Australian citizens.

What you will do
- Own and manage the full release lifecycle for software products and mobile apps.
- Develop and maintain release schedules coordinating cross-functional teams.
- Engage stakeholders to align release plans with business goals and customer expectations.
- Support feature-driven development and coordinate A/B testing initiatives.
- Identify and mitigate release risks, ensuring contingency plans.
- Champion automation and CI/CD integration to streamline workflows.
Requirements
- Must be an Australian citizen.
- 8+ years experience in computer science, preferably in virtualization and cloud computing.
- Strong knowledge of software development, release management, and mobile app releases.
- Experience with CI/CD tools, Agile, DevOps, and release automation.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- University degree in Computer Science or related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
Nice to have
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- ITIL or similar service management framework knowledge.
