TL;DR

What you will do

  • Own and manage the full release lifecycle for software products and mobile apps.
  • Develop and maintain release schedules coordinating cross-functional teams.
  • Engage stakeholders to align release plans with business goals and customer expectations.
  • Support feature-driven development and coordinate A/B testing initiatives.
  • Identify and mitigate release risks, ensuring contingency plans.
  • Champion automation and CI/CD integration to streamline workflows.

Requirements

  • Must be an Australian citizen.
  • 8+ years experience in computer science, preferably in virtualization and cloud computing.
  • Strong knowledge of software development, release management, and mobile app releases.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools, Agile, DevOps, and release automation.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • University degree in Computer Science or related field; relevant certifications are a plus.

Nice to have

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • ITIL or similar service management framework knowledge.
