Location: Hybrid in Toronto, Canada (3 days per week in office)

Salary: CA$99,800–CA$215,000 (with equity)

What you will do

• Design and implement high-performance, accessible user interfaces for hirify.global’s AI-driven platform.
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams on new feature development.
• Contribute to frontend architecture, ensuring maintainability, performance, and scalability.
• Develop and maintain design system components and shared libraries.
• Optimize web applications for speed, accessibility, SEO, and responsiveness.
• Mentor peers and promote best practices in frontend development within a startup environment.

Requirements

• Deep experience with modern frontend technologies like React, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and build tools (Vite/Webpack).
• Strong understanding of state management (e.g., Redux, Zustand) and modern frontend architecture patterns.
• Experience with design systems, component libraries, and UI/UX collaboration (Figma).
• Solid understanding of web performance, accessibility, and responsive design.
• Experience with frontend testing tools (e.g., Jest, Cypress) and Git.
• Proven track record of shipping user-facing products in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• English: B2+ required.
• Work format: Hybrid, 3 days per week in Toronto office, Canada.

Nice to have

• Experience working on AI-driven or data-heavy applications.
• Knowledge of backend integration best practices (e.g., GraphQL, REST APIs).
• Familiarity with SSR frameworks (e.g., Next.js), server components, or edge rendering.
• Experience with cloud platforms like Vercel, Netlify, or AWS Amplify.
