What you will do

• Spearhead design, development, and optimization of scalable backend systems for LLM deployment.
• Own full project lifecycle from inception to deployment and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including data scientists and researchers.
• Partner with engineering stakeholders to understand and address requirements at scale.
• Implement maintainable, reusable code using Python, Postgres, Kubernetes, Elasticsearch, and related technologies.

Requirements

• Extensive experience building reliable, observable, and high-performance distributed systems.
• Proven proficiency in production-ready software development, infrastructure management, and RESTful APIs.
• Strong structured thinking and track record delivering complex engineering projects.
• Startup experience and ability to thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments.
• Expert knowledge of Python or other languages such as Go, Java, or C++.
• Location: Hybrid role based in Toronto, Canada
• English: Required
