What you will do
- Design and manage monitoring, alerting, and infrastructure resources across 50+ global regions
- Lead incident management including postmortems and root cause analysis
- Automate operational tasks and workflows to maintain high reliability and reduce manual intervention
- Establish best practices for security, compliance, and reliability across the software lifecycle
- Optimize infrastructure costs while maintaining system performance and reliability
- Provide technical mentorship and leadership to promote best practices and team growth
Requirements
- Location: Must be based in or relocate to San Francisco, CA
- 10+ years experience in Site Reliability Engineering or similar roles with leadership experience
- Expertise in infrastructure as code tools (Pulumi, Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Familiarity with observability and incident response tools (Datadog, Sentry, PagerDuty, IncidentIO)
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, AWS) and strong programming skills (Python, Bash, Go)
- Solid understanding of CI/CD, Kubernetes, containerization, networking, databases, and cloud security
