System Analyst (Regulatory Reporting, Fintech)

Senior System Analyst (Regulatory Reporting, Fintech): Gathering, clarifying, and formalizing reporting requirements and performing deep data analysis for building regulatory reporting with an accent on process and data analysis and designing data marts/pipelines. Focus on translating regulations into clear process logic and data rules and participating in solution design for reproducible, auditable, and scalable reporting.

Location: Remote (Worldwide), with optional relocation support to Cyprus, Spain, Serbia, or Kazakhstan.

What you will do

• Gather, clarify, and formalize reporting requirements from internal stakeholders and regulatory standards.
• Perform deep data analysis, including source identification, profiling, gap detection, and reconciliation logic.
• Define business rules for transformations and design data models, metrics, and definitions for data marts/pipelines.
• Define integration scenarios and system/data contracts with engineering teams.
• Participate in solution design to ensure regulatory reporting is reproducible, auditable, and scalable.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience as a System Analyst / Business Analyst in banking or fintech is required.
• Strong domain expertise in retail banking products, including loans, deposits, cards, payments, and transactional flows.
• Solid process and data mindset with the ability to translate regulations into clear logic and data rules.
• Strong SQL skills for analysis, validation, and prototyping of data sets.
• Understanding of integration methods and tools such as REST/gRPC APIs, message brokers, and ETL/ELT.
• Ability to produce strong system documentation (BRD/FRD, data specs, flow diagrams, user stories).
• English level B1 or higher is required for effective communication.
