TL;DR

Location: Hybrid in Amsterdam, Netherlands or Zurich, Switzerland with expectation to spend at least 50% time onsite

What you will do

  • Architect and scale core data systems from ingestion to storage and serving ensuring data is reliable and production-ready
  • Own the data-product interface enabling AI products to consume and act on high-quality data
  • Mentor and grow a team of data, software, and analytics engineers
  • Guide technical design, process rigor, and foster a culture of continuous improvement

Requirements

  • Location: Must be based in the Netherlands or Switzerland with hybrid work and onsite presence at least 50%
  • Proven leadership experience in technical teams including hiring and coaching engineers
  • Strong background in software and data engineering with experience in data modeling and distributed data processing
  • Experience with Python and tools like Dagster, Airflow, dbt, Spark, and Kubernetes
  • Ability to make long-term architectural decisions aligning with product priorities
  • English: Required, job posting in English implies at least B2 level
