Salary: $104,000–$187,000 USD (for US-based candidates only)

What you will do

• Build and enhance MetaMask's Advanced Trading features to drive user engagement and generate revenue.
• Implement user-centric solutions across MetaMask Clients including Extension, Mobile, and Web.
• Contribute to backend APIs and middlewares that power consumer experiences.
• Help create intuitive, efficient, and secure Web3 interactions.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain high code quality standards.

Requirements

• 3+ years in mobile and web application development.
• Strong knowledge of modern Javascript (ES6/TypeScript), React, and React Native.
• Familiarity with blockchain fundamentals and Web3 integration.
• Experience with APIs, middleware services, and cross-platform/browser compatibility.
• Proficiency in clean code practices, testing, and web-based security considerations.
• Experience working in an agile development team.

Nice to have

• Experience building trading applications (TradFi or DeFi), including stocks, equities, and cryptocurrencies.
• Experience with DeFi protocols, token swaps, or fiat on/off ramps.
• Knowledge of financial products in the digital space.
• Interest in blockchain technologies and Web3.
• Basic understanding of cryptography principles.
