Salary: $187,000 - $220,000 USD (base pay range for Menlo Park zone)

What you will do

• Design and deploy fraud detection models to protect users and assets in real time
• Analyze behavioral data to identify emerging fraud vectors and support incident response
• Develop data pipelines and monitoring systems to ensure model accuracy and reliability
• Collaborate with engineering, product, risk, and compliance teams to implement safeguards and features
• Guide experimentation strategy and contribute to long-term fraud prevention roadmap

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in or near Menlo Park, CA with onsite attendance at least 3 days per week
• 5+ years experience in data science or applied ML focused on fraud detection or risk mitigation
• Advanced proficiency in Python, SQL, and ML frameworks such as XGBoost, LightGBM, or TensorFlow
• Strong statistical skills including anomaly detection, pattern recognition, and A/B testing
• Excellent communication skills to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Collaborative mindset and ability to navigate ambiguity in fast-paced environments
