TL;DR

Support Engineer: Providing technical support to company employees and managing IT infrastructure, with an accent on issue investigation, solution application, and maintaining IT services. Focus on administering Atlassian, Google, and Microsoft services, managing hardware/software assets, and contributing to IT projects.

Location: Remote globally or office work available

hirify.global is an international team with colleagues working remotely and from the office globally.

What you will do

  • Provide technical support to company employees via Jira, email, and audio/video calls.
  • Investigate issues, apply solutions, and deliver support according to SLA.
  • Maintain and continuously update the company’s knowledge base.
  • Administer Atlassian, Google, Microsoft, and other software/cloud services.
  • Manage hardware and software assets (inventory, issuance, configuration, installation).
  • Manage virtual machines (deploy, configuration) and contribute to IT projects.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in technical support and system administration.
  • Proficiency in Windows/MacOS end-user device administration.
  • Experience with Atlassian (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket).
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.
  • Knowledge of network and security.
  • Familiarity with ITIL and ITSM methodologies.
  • English: B2+ required

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with Falcon CrowdStrike, Google Workspace, Microsoft Intune, Zscaler.
  • Proficiency in GNU/Linux end-user device administration.
  • Understanding of identity terminologies such as SSO, LDAP, and OAuth.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages, such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
