What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain automated end-to-end tests for payment flows using Java-based tools including Cucumber JVM and Playwright
• Test critical money-movement scenarios such as deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and reconciliation
• Own the full test development cycle including BDD scenario design and CI/CD integration
• Validate integrations with external payment providers, banking APIs, and internal services
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations including AML and transaction limits
• Analyze failures, debug flaky tests, and prevent regressions

Requirements

• 2+ years experience in test automation or software engineering
• Proficiency in Java, automated API and end-to-end testing
• Experience with BDD and Cucumber JVM or similar tools
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and containerized environments
• Good SQL skills for testing financial data flows
• Strong analytical and debugging skills with understanding of distributed systems
• Good written and spoken English

Nice to have

• Experience with Gherkin and practical Cucumber JVM usage
• Background in payments, financial transactions, or banking integrations
• Knowledge of testing asynchronous/event-driven systems and contract testing tools
• Understanding of idempotency and distributed transaction patterns
