Associate Lead Engine Programmer (Game Development)

Location: Quebec, Canada; full-time on-site presence in the office is required.

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and coach the Engine Programming team.
• Assist with recruiting Engine Programmers and collaborate with other programming leads.
• Manage code reviews and code feature documentation.
• Maintain, port, and extend the proprietary engine across multiple platforms.
• Debug and optimize code to meet quality and performance targets.
• Develop well-designed software while protecting source code, tools, artwork, and technical know-how.

Requirements

• Demonstrable lead or management experience and extensive game programming experience.
• Excellent C++ skills and strong mentoring and coaching ability.
• Experience with graphics APIs such as DirectX 12 and Vulkan.
• Experience with a broad range of CPU and GPU profiling tools.
• Strong multithreading skills and a passion for low-level programming and performance analysis.
• Fluent English is essential, and the role requires full-time on-site work in the Quebec office.
