What you will do

• Architect and customize AOSP for video collaboration devices.
• Develop and integrate custom Android framework components and services.
• Drive development on low-level system components including Camera HAL and HDMI interfaces.
• Debug and resolve complex system-level Android issues to ensure product stability.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with hardware, firmware, and QA teams for seamless integration.
• Maintain Android system services and configure SELinux policies for security.

Requirements

• Location: Hybrid work model with presence in Krakow, Poland
• English: B2 level or higher
• 7+ years of experience in Android framework development and AOSP customization.
• Expertise in Kotlin, Java, C, and C++ with strong system-level codebase knowledge.
• Deep understanding of Android system architecture including HAL and application lifecycle.
• Experience with Camera HAL, Camera2 API, DisplayManager, and HDMI integration.

Nice to have

• Experience with Chromium WebRTC audio/video APIs or Chromium WebView customization.
