Senior Python Developer (Backend): Developing a user-friendly web application for a file hosting service with an accent on large-scale migration initiatives, system reliability, and security standards. Location: Tax residence in Ukraine is required, ability to work until 9 pm CEST

What you will do

Lead and implement large-scale migration initiatives
Collaborate closely with security and engineering teams to align priorities and mitigate risks
Analyze and adapt solutions across complex, multi-layered codebases and system components
Facilitate technical discussions and document decisions for clarity and accountability
Monitor and report migration progress to stakeholders ensuring transparency and timely execution
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to maintain system reliability and enhance security standards

Requirements

Minimum 7 years of Python programming experience
Knowledge of REST API design and application security practices
Familiarity with distributed systems fundamentals (RPC, load balancing, service discovery)
Ukrainian language proficiency at B2 level
Good verbal and written English skills
Ability to work until 9 pm CEST
Tax residence in Ukraine is required
