TL;DR

Location: Barcelona; hybrid work with 3 days per week at the office

What you will do
- Develop native Android mobile applications and digital products.
- Build user interfaces with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
- Apply system design, design patterns, API design, and MVP or MVVM architecture.
- Work with Git and DevOps practices.
- Explore cloud services, GraphQL, Firebase, and related technologies.
- Evaluate AI tools to improve drafting, analysis, research, and workflow automation.
Requirements
- Four years of native Android mobile development experience.
- Hands-on experience with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
- Knowledge of data structures, system design, design patterns, API design, declarative UI, Git, and DevOps.
- Ability to work from Barcelona in a hybrid mode, with 3 days per week at the office.
Nice to have
- Full-stack development background.
- Familiarity with cloud services, GraphQL, Firebase, or similar technologies.
- Background in journalism and an interest in news and creativity.
- Proficiency with one or more AI tools for day-to-day work.
