What you will do

• Research, design, and implement generative AI models for speech generation including TTS and voice cloning
• Investigate novel architectures like Flow Matching and Autoregressive Transformers to improve audio fidelity
• Develop disentangled representation learning techniques for speaker identity and prosody separation
• Optimize deep learning models for real-time inference focusing on latency and throughput
• Collaborate closely with engineers and researchers to bridge research and product impact

Requirements

• Must be located in or able to work onsite in San Francisco, CA
• Currently pursuing Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• Experience with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch) and Python programming
• Solid understanding of digital signal processing and audio synthesis concepts
• Experience in speech synthesis, voice cloning, or generative modeling

Nice to have

• First-author publications in top-tier AI or speech conferences
• Familiarity with model optimization techniques like quantization and distillation
• Experience integrating ML models into production environments
• Previous internship or research experience in audio AI or related domains
