What you will do

• Define and implement a holistic vision for a world-class internal cloud infrastructure.
• Maintain technical design roadmaps and guidelines to improve reliability, resilience, and scalability.
• Collaborate with cloud-ops software teams to build standardized and automated operations.
• Lead technical decisions for scalable self-service solutions and collaborate on security best practices.
• Automate operations for reuse across large distributed systems and analyze incidents to improve system stability.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in the EMEA region
• Extensive knowledge of cloud computing, Linux networking, routing, firewalls, and large-scale bandwidth networking.
• Experience with incident response, production outages, and postmortems.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Passion for open source, especially Ubuntu or Debian.
• Undergraduate degree in a technical subject or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Modern software engineering practices including peer-review, unit testing, SCM, CI/CD, Agile.
• Hands-on experience with automatic administration of enterprise Linux servers at scale.
