What you will do

• Recruit, mentor, and enable the software engineering team to deliver quality OEM enablement projects
• Set goals, prioritize tasks, and monitor team health and project progress
• Coordinate with project managers, QA, certification, and product engineering teams
• Resolve technical challenges with OEMs, ODMs, and hardware partners
• Manage escalations and prioritize global customer requests
• Provide leadership on methodologies, standards, and best practices

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Taipei, Taiwan (office based)
• Bachelor or higher degree in STEM, preferably computer science or software engineering
• Proven Linux experience, preferably with Ubuntu or Debian
• Experience in software engineering management and team leadership
• Strong English and Chinese communication skills, written and verbal
• Ability to travel internationally to EU, USA, China, and Taiwan

Nice to have

• Technical decision-making experience as a tech lead
• Software architecture and design experience
• Experience with Ubuntu kernel, packaging, containers, Python, Go, C, Kubernetes, OpenStack, AI/ML
• Participation in open-source projects
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
