What you will do

• Design and implement Ubuntu integration for IoT and server-class hardware platforms.
• Collaborate with partners to enhance the Ubuntu experience on their platforms.
• Lead technical engagements involving complete system architectures.
• Assist partners in integrating applications and optimizing with Ubuntu Core.
• Work with advanced operating systems and application technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, STEM, or similar.
• Experience with Linux packaging (Debian, RPM, Yocto).
• Familiarity with open source communities and licenses.
• Proficiency in Python, C, and C++.
• Ability to work in a globally distributed team.

Nice to have

• Experience with server technologies and virtualization stacks.
• Understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, HTTP/REST).
• IoT/Embedded experience.
• Familiarity with CI automation platforms like GitHub.
• Experience with Docker/OCI containers.
