What you will do

• Lead a distributed engineering team to design and implement Ubuntu integration for latest IoT and server hardware platforms
• Engage with commercial partners to deliver optimized Ubuntu experiences
• Develop your team through coaching, mentoring, and feedback
• Oversee commercial engagements and ensure timely delivery on project milestones
• Maintain strict quality and reliability standards
• Collaborate with internal teams to align on product architecture and roadmaps
• Work remotely with occasional global travel up to twice a year

Requirements

• Experience with Linux distributions, Debian packaging, and high-performance server-class hardware
• Proven experience managing or leading software engineering teams
• Strong customer engagement and communication skills in English
• Understanding of agile software development methodologies
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technology field
• English: effective written and oral communication skills required
