Python Engineer - Data Center Hardware Integration (Open Source): Managing and operating a lab for Ubuntu server certification with an accent on software defined hardware management and automation tooling. Focus on developing integrations and improving hardware monitoring through automation.

Location: Office Based - Taipei, Taiwan

What you will do

Own a fully automated server lab with the latest server and network silicon.
Develop the Metal as a Service (MAAS) software for various hardware.
Expand MAAS functionality by creating integrations with testing software.
Manage the physical setup of the lab and ensure it is well structured.
Standardize processes and configurations in cooperation with other engineers.
Improve hardware and network monitoring through automation.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
Python programming experience.
Linux Administration experience.
Ability to communicate clearly in English.
Willingness to travel up to 4 times a year for internal events.
