What you will do

  • Implement and evolve hirify.global's SecOps security standards and playbooks
  • Analyse and improve security architecture and select new security tools
  • Identify, contain, and guide remediation of security threats and cyber attacks
  • Contribute to open source threat intelligence and lead SecOps practices across teams
  • Develop learning materials and publish security research and presentations
  • Plan and deliver SecOps work within agile engineering frameworks

Requirements

  • Must be globally located as role is home based worldwide
  • Exceptional academic track record in Computer Science or STEM or equivalent experience
  • Expertise in threat modelling, risk management frameworks (e.g., NIST CSF), and security standards (ISO 27001)
  • Experience with security architecture, market-leading security tools, and threat intelligence feeds
  • Deep motivation for technology security and going beyond expectations

Nice to have

  • Experience in security operations teams or SOC
  • Hands-on offensive or defensive security experience
  • Experience dealing with state-actor and advanced persistent threats
