What you will do

• Design, deliver, and support features in a highly concurrent, distributed system for cloud automation.
• Collaborate proactively with a globally distributed team.
• Debug issues and engage with upstream open source communities.
• Work with experts across multiple fields and discuss solutions collaboratively.
• Participate in global travel 2-4 weeks per year for internal and external events.

Requirements

• Location: This is a globally remote role.
• Experience developing software using Go.
• Excellent English communication skills, especially online.
• Exceptional academic track record.
• Willingness to travel up to 4 times a year for internal events.

Nice to have

• Experience with highly concurrent distributed systems.
• Knowledge of container technologies like Docker, LXD, Kubernetes.
• Networking background and experience.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and open source software.
• Experience with configuration management, cloud computing, software packaging, SQL/NoSQL databases, and Terraform plugins.
