What you will do

• Collaborate remotely with a globally distributed team.
• Write clean web service APIs using Python and optionally Golang.
• Design and implement new features from specification to production at scale.
• Review code and technical designs from other engineers.
• Discuss ideas and collaborate on solutions.
• Participate in global travel for internal and external events 2 to 4 weeks per year.

Requirements

• Location: Remote, worldwide.
• Professional proficiency in developing public-facing APIs and web applications using Python.
• Experience with backend code, infrastructure, and database design (relational and non-relational).
• Comfortable working with Ubuntu as development and deployment platform.
• Strong academic background in Computer Science, STEM, or similar.
