What you will do

• Collaborate with Art Leads and cross-disciplinary teams to deliver quality 2D assets on time.
• Create concepts and designs for characters, buildings, and props aligned with art direction.
• Provide clear feedback to internal and external artists and manage deliverables.
• Work with 3D teams to ensure alignment from concept to final asset.
• Engage with narrative, design, and product teams to iterate on gameplay and visual direction.
• Embrace and explore AI-powered tools to enhance the art creation process.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Seville, Spain or able to work hybrid from there.
• 7+ years experience as a concept or 2D artist in games.
• Strong skills in whimsical character, environment, and prop design with traditional art principles.
• Proficient in digital art software such as Photoshop and familiar with 3D modeling and animation principles.
• Excellent communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Experience with mobile games, 2D animation, VFX, and AI-assisted creative tools like Scenario or ChatGPT.
