What you will do

• Lead and develop a team of engineers from graduate to senior levels
• Work remotely within a single major time zone, occasionally two
• Coach, mentor, and provide career development feedback
• Implement disciplined engineering processes and measure team health
• Represent your team and product to stakeholders and customers
• Collaborate as part of the leadership team to drive strategy and delivery

Requirements

• Excellent English communication skills
• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, STEM, or equivalent experience
• Proven experience in leading, coaching, and mentoring software developers
• Ability to deliver timely, high-quality results in an agile environment
• Advanced expertise in your engineering domain and passion for software development
• Willingness to travel twice a year for company events

Nice to have

• Experience in developer advocacy or community roles
• Ops and system administration experience
• Performance engineering and security experience
