What you will do
- Lead design standards and direction for monthly content releases and player experiences
- Manage and mentor designers and live ops specialists in systems and economy design
- Build and refine gameplay experiences focused on resource management, progression, and player agency
- Collaborate cross-functionally with designers, product managers, analysts, and engineers
- Use data, player feedback, and playtesting to evaluate and improve game features
- Plan for long-term content scalability and system health
Requirements
- Must have 2+ years of game design leadership experience
- 8+ years designing systems or economies for live F2P games, preferably MMO, 4X, or strategy
- Proven experience in F2P systems design and progression modelling
- Strong people management and mentoring skills
- Experience with all aspects of game design: concept, progression, interface, monetization, retention
- Ability to translate KPIs and data into design direction
Nice to have
- Deep understanding of 4X genre and F2P 4X experience
- Familiarity with SQL, scripting, or simulation tools
- Passion for Star Trek, sci-fi, or strategic social games
- Experience with alliance or co-op systems in large-scale games
