What you will do

• Participate in product meetings contributing technical insight and strategy.
• Engage with developer communities across multiple platforms and events.
• Collaborate with internal teams to establish consistent approaches.
• Solve technical problems identified by users and colleagues.
• Create technical documentation, articles, presentations, and workshops.
• Identify opportunities to improve developer experience and present at conferences.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in EMEA time zones.
• Proven programming and open-source software engagement.
• Experience with Linux software packaging including Snaps, debs, charms, PIP, and containers.
• Contributor to open-source communities and documentation.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel globally twice a year for company and partner events.

Nice to have

• Previous developer advocacy or community role experience.
• In-depth familiarity with Ubuntu and hirify.global products.
