What you will do
- Design and implement features across the Mir stack
- Debug, track down, and fix issues
- Participate in code and architectural reviews
- Create and improve tests and performance benchmarks
- Maintain documentation to enhance developer experience
- Engage with the open source community and commercial partners
- Collaborate proactively with a distributed team
Requirements
- Must have at least 2 years of industry experience
- Strong skills in modern C++ and Rust programming
- Familiarity with Linux development and deployment
- Ability to collaborate remotely and stay productive
- Willingness to travel internationally twice a year
Nice to have
- Experience with Wayland protocol and compositors
- Familiarity with OpenGL, Vulkan, Flutter, and graphics toolkits
- Understanding of asynchronous programming and concurrency patterns
- Proven ability to deliver robust production code
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
