What you will do

• Manage and grow an engineering team to improve development and operations quality and velocity
• Implement disciplined engineering and operations processes and measure team health
• Represent the team to stakeholders, customers, and external groups
• Ensure focus on priorities, milestones, and deliverables
• Meet service level agreements for global customer deployments
• Deliver consistent, timely quality managed services

Requirements

• Location: This is a globally remote role
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technology field
• Experience in software delivery with Python, Go, C, C++, Java or managing operations teams
• Proven experience with OpenStack and Linux system administration (Ubuntu/Debian preferred)
• Strong communication, cooperation skills, and experience managing distributed teams
• Technical aptitude for complex distributed systems and cloud technologies
