What you will do

• Design and build backend components including payroll and tax processing engines, ledger services, and pay cycle management
• Develop robust, secure, and maintainable services and APIs using Go
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver impactful features
• Maintain scalable and reliable backend microservices for the payroll SaaS product
• Investigate and resolve production issues focusing on root cause analysis and stability
• Conduct code reviews to ensure quality and best practices adherence

Requirements

• Location: Hybrid from Mexico City office preferred, remote considered
• 4+ years development experience in fast-paced environments
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in Go, Python, C# or similar languages
• Experience with relational databases and AWS cloud
• Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm, and configuration as code
• Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in dynamic environments
