Mid Data Engineer (Databricks)

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines using Python and Databricks.
• Collaborate with an international team to develop scalable data solutions and ensure smooth onboarding of new tenants.
• Analyze and debug system bugs (Tier 2) and write integration tests to ensure data service reliability.
• Create and maintain smart documentation, checklists, and workflows for process consistency.
• Manage code using Gitlab and collaborate with team members.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years experience as data/software engineer or relevant field
• Proficiency in Python for data pipelines and troubleshooting
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure, and data platforms like Databricks or Snowflake
• Strong SQL and relational database skills
• English proficiency at C1 level or higher
• Experience with testing frameworks (pytest) and version control (Git, Gitlab)

Nice to have

• Experience with Apache Spark/PySpark
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
• Willingness to travel abroad once or twice a year for onsite team building in Oslo, Norway
