What you will do

• Translate product requirements into technical specifications and firmware development plans.
• Drive collaboration with internal teams and external partners for product development.
• Develop and integrate firmware within platform-level architecture.
• Define and execute manual and automated integration tests.
• Participate actively in the full development lifecycle from idea to validation.

Requirements

• Location: Hybrid work in Ljubljana, Slovenia
• 5+ years of embedded software development experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software, Computer Science, Electronics, Mechatronics or similar.
• Strong programming skills in embedded C and proven firmware deployment experience.
• Experience with device-to-device communication protocols (RS485, TCP/IP, Modbus, BACnet, BLE) and electric motor drivers (BLDC, stepper).
• Strong English communication skills (written and spoken).

Nice to have

• Experience in building automation, smart homes, or heating systems.
• Familiarity with GitHub Copilot, Azure DevOps, Python, Matlab Simulink, secure software development, and app development.
