TL;DR

Location: Must be within commutable distance (2–3 hours) of Krakow, Poland with a remote-first working model and periodic in-person meetings.

What you will do

  • Develop and maintain backend services primarily using Java and related technologies.
  • Collaborate with product managers and designers throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Participate in daily release cycles and continuous deployment.
  • Work on some frontend projects occasionally, with support and training provided.
  • Support infrastructure running on AWS, Kubernetes, and various databases.

Requirements

  • Location: Must be within 2–3 hours commuting distance to Krakow, Poland.
  • Experience with statically typed, object-oriented languages such as Java, C#, or C++.
  • Familiarity or willingness to learn technologies like React, TypeScript, GraphQL, Kubernetes, SQL, and NoSQL.
  • English: Proficient (B2) or higher.
  • Ability to work in a remote-first environment with periodic onsite collaboration.

Nice to have

  • Experience with full-stack development.
  • Knowledge of AWS cloud infrastructure.
