What you will do

• Develop modular, reusable test and automation software in Python and similar languages for manufacturing and design verification.
• Write automation software to interact with flight hardware, test equipment, and production documentation systems.
• Develop software for test execution across hardware-in-the-loop and virtualized hardware simulations.
• Create custom automation solutions combining embedded electronics and innovative hardware.
• Analyze complex test data to determine component acceptance.
• Maintain and troubleshoot automation infrastructure and collaborate with partner teams to resolve failures.
• Define and implement project plans, manage milestones, and conduct reviews to ensure reliable test systems delivery.
• Invent tools to enable frequent and reliable software deployment, test execution, and data analysis as part of continuous integration.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or STEM discipline.
• 5+ years of software development experience in C, C++, or Python; or fullstack software development experience.
• Ability and willingness to obtain a Top-Secret clearance.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, asylee, or eligible for required U.S. Department of State authorizations due to ITAR regulations.
• Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed.

Nice to have

• Extensive knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Experience with configuration management, version control, continuous integration, and agile development.
• Experience automating manufacturing processes to improve yields and reduce production time.
• Experience with control feedback loop design, numerical analysis, signal processing, and embedded hardware product development.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
